Completing the course does not complete the formalities needed to start working. Separately, you need to take care of your business, premises, documentation and procedures to protect against infections. The requirements may depend on the place and work model, so the details should be confirmed with the appropriate sanitary and epidemiological station, and, if necessary, also with an accountant or lawyer.

Don't assume that a certificate is a license

The certificate confirms completion of a specific program. It is not a state license and does not exempt you from the obligations related to providing services.

The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate indicates that persons performing activities that violate tissue continuity must implement and use procedures for protection against infections and infectious diseases.

Start with the right sanitation station

According to GIS, information about the requirements for the premises is obtained from the state district sanitary inspector competent for the place where services are provided. It's best to do this before signing a lease or starting remodeling.

Describe the planned activity and ask for an assessment of the conditions of a specific place. Depending on the situation, construction issues and changes in the use of the premises may also be important.

Prepare procedures and documentation

When performing work that disturbs tissue continuity, procedures are needed to reduce the risk of infections. These include, among others, the organization of the workplace, handling of materials, hygiene, waste and documentation.

A random form you find online may not fit the way you work or your local requirements. Documents must be prepared for a specific activity.

Check activity, data and settlements

Your own company, cooperation with a studio and other forms of activity have various tax, contractual and organizational consequences. Before the first client, determine responsibility for the premises, data protection, insurance and settlement method.

What the course doesn't do for you

Even extensive training will not approve the premises, choose the form of business or prepare one set of documents suitable for each company. These issues depend on the location, scope of services and current requirements.

Professional competences and responsibilities of an entrepreneur are two separate areas. The course can help you understand the process and risks, but decisions regarding premises, taxes, contracts and data must be confirmed with appropriate institutions or specialists.
