The price of the course is only one item in the budget of a beginner piercer. You need to add the workplace, equipment, materials, jewelry, documentation, marketing and reserves for the first months. There is no one amount for everyone - work in an existing studio and opening your own practice must be counted separately.
Course and further education

Position, materials and jewelry
The shopping list depends on where you work. Separately count reusable equipment, consumables, jewelry supplies, protective equipment and costs of maintaining the standard.
The cheapest product does not always mean real savings, especially when its quality cannot be confirmed.
Workplace and fixed costs
Working in an existing studio can reduce start-up costs, but usually involves a per-station fee or the studio's share of the service price.

Prepare three versions of the budget: minimum, target and safe, with a reserve. In each one, enter the expected number of customers, material costs, further learning time and unforeseen expenses.

Working in a studio and your own office are two different budgets
In the studio, some of the equipment, registration management or premises costs may be provided. However, it is necessary to establish the rules of settlement and responsibility for materials, because each cooperation is different.
With your own place, there are expenses and time for administration, maintaining the premises and acquiring customers. Therefore, both budgets should be calculated separately, taking into account initial purchases and several months of fixed costs.
