Copying other piercers' prices won't show you how much your service really costs. Each piercing involves preparation time, jewelry, materials, maintaining a position and responsibility. The price should cover these elements and not only serve to acquire the first customers.
Calculate the full cost of one service
Count not only the time of the piercing itself. Include conversation with the client, preparation and cleaning of the station, disposable materials, jewelry and subsequent follow-up contact.
In addition, there are some fixed costs: premises, utilities, accounting, insurance, taxes, marketing and equipment replacement.
Don't lower the price at the expense of the standard
A low rate cannot mean inferior jewelry, shortened qualifications or sacrificing proper preparation. It should also not encourage work outside the scope of competence.
If you are building a portfolio, clearly describe the terms. The model or client is still a person, not part of a promotional campaign.
Build a simple Pricing structure
Divide services according to actual differences in time, type of jewelry and organization of the procedure. Write what the given price includes and when an individual quote is needed.
One rate does not always fit every case, especially when the cost is changed by anatomy or choice of decoration.
First costs, then marketing
A clear Pricing builds trust. Knowing your costs makes it easier to explain your price and reduces the pressure for random promotions.
Calculate the rates before publishing them starting budget and check how to get customers without competing solely on price.
Jewelry included in the price or separately?
Both models are understandable if the client knows the rules before the visit. Combined pricing simplifies communication. A separate jewelry valuation better shows the differences between materials and structures.
The problem begins when the low amount in the Pricing does not include an element necessary to perform the service, and the customer only learns about the additional payment on site. The description must clearly indicate the content of the base rate.
